The database is a collection of information of all personnel involve in biotechnology research. This database is also a kind of handbook of current biotechnology research programs and scientists behind these activities in the country. To pave the way for establishing a coordinated network of research and resources of Bangladesh, this national database on biotechnology research and personnel is necessary to link up with multiple stakeholders including research institutes, universities, private sectors, consumer groups, non-government organization & voluntary organizations and international bodies. This national database would at as corner stone of this coordinated research network and facilitate allied research and funding on prioritized sectors within country and with international collaborators.
